It's about time you had an idea.

I would like to come up with something different, unique and not the same but not sure if I want to take time from my other projects to develop that idea.

Maybe something cyberpunk-ish or just plain weird. That would be different for me.

Hmmm, I may have the first line.

Okay, have a story written out-sort of. It isn't the one I was thinking of and I didn't write it for the contest but it is about time.

I believe it's less than 1,000 words but I also believe I can get it there. It's a very simple story but it has everything a story needs.

Now, to explain what I mean by "sort of" and "I believe". It is hand written on notepaper. I need to type it out to see exactly how long it is. I wrote it at work while trying for a fun project of writing what I call a mini story--less than 200 words. It didn't work and stretched to 500 plus. Actually, it is my second attempt with the same opening trying for that mini tale. The first one came out at a bit over 1,100 words. Later I decided to change the opening and try again. Today I started my third attempt. It will be shorter than the second try but still not sure about getting under 200.

Anyway, I have a story abut Time I can enter. I got time, to type it out and revise it. And maybe see about someone critting it?

Oh, I decided to enter the mini contest 50 words or less describing a color without cliches. I have an idea already. But I have to see about keeping it under 50. I know I can keep it under 80 but not sure about 50.
