In order to validate our 50 hours of editing during march participants are to have a buddy. Though the rules now allow for a first or second draft. I just thought that if anyone were doing it here, I'd like you for a buddy. There are provisions for finding a buddy on the site.

Anyway, I apologize that I've been around not so much. I've been job hunting but I think I'm close to having something.

I just wanted to bump this and say I'm up to 46 hours. Unless the last four hours are incredible, though, it will still be a while before I'm not ashamed to let Survivor read it. Okay, that may never happen.

You wrote bad things about me in your book, didn't you?

It depends on how expansive your concept of ego is, and whether you consider burning a hole in the carpet with a fudge pan a bad thing.

But look I'm done! The winners are sorted by join date, and I joined feb 16, 2005.

http://www.nanoedmo.org/phpBB2/winners.php?mode=&order=ASC&start=0

It looks like a much more select group than the 5000 who crossed the line with me at Nanowrimo.

And, once again, I'm not actually done, but I'm going to run a hard copy tonight anyway.

See? This is what I'm talking about when I say that newbies like moi are clueless when encountering acronyms... Nanonemo? Nononitwit? NeenerNeener? It sounds like a lot of Mork from Ork talk to me! Anyone want to clue me in on what Nanowhatzits is, or where I can find more info about it?

Well, I must say I followed the link above and read for about 1/2 an hour before I finally figured out this seems to be a group that encourages madness... writing an entire novel in a month? Sounds insane. Sign me up....!!

It was a cookie sheet!

And you know about my world (meaning the physical universe) domination level ego. The whole book is probably full of bad things about me. Or at least, not full of good things about me (which would probably make for a pretty small book...so I guess it's just as well).
