Sorry it's taken me so long to announce this on Hatrack. On Nov. 1, I gave birth to a 10 lb. baby boy. He's doing well and so am I.
Just thought y'all would like some closure on that anecdote.
Also, I wanted to say that I appreciate the wonderful thoughts you guys stuck on my rant. A thoughtful member of Hatrack emailed them to me. They really help when I get discouraged.
And now I must leave before I'm tempted to start lurking and [gasp!] commenting.

Congrats, Keeley! How exciting that your baby has finally been welcomed into the world. The delay is understandable. You spend the first month simply trying to snatch sleep whenever you can. My firstborn was 9lbs 8-1/2oz, so I can empathize with having a baby that size!
You'll be doing real life research, now, on the trials and tribulations of being a mom. Keep notes so that some day you can write your "Mother-tells-all" book!
Unfortunately, I don't have a similiar announcement just yet...any day now, Assuming I don't go completely bonkers for all this painful waiting, that is.
