New contest up in the challenge section.

I know we have a lot of new faces since the last challenge, so join in folks, it's a good chance to get your feet wet. (after all, it is stormy).

Rules are easy to follow:
Post a 13 line hook with the theme "It was a dark and stormy night"

Holy cow, I'm right in the middle of a story playing off this. I've been thinking about it for a month. Now I feel un-original. (As if I actually felt original working with a line like that.)

No worries.

Tweak the 13 and enter them in the contest.

The purpose behind it is to take a familiar concept and give it a fresh spin.
That was the theme of a few other contests, so I ran with it.
