I have a question. The two stories I recently sold, neither of them will actually see publication for months. In cover letters, is it customary to mention sales that are forthcoming for publication, or only completed and available credits? I've never really been in this situation before.

It is perfectly acceptable to mention sales that have not actually appeared yet. I've been doing it on cover letters for three years now.
