I've been wondering this since I started hatrack six months ago:

When you qoute something, how do you actually use the qoute line? Like, if I wanted to qoute a paragraph, and at the top it says "qoute", how do I do that? I always just copy and paste, but I see everyone else using the whole qoute thing. I don't know how to do that? Can someone help me out?

To start the quoted section, do this.

You type a bracket like this: [
then the word quote
then close brackets likes this: ]

To close it, do as above, but put a / before the word 'quote'.

It's done through what's called UBB code, which can allow you to do various formatting in your posts.

(There is a link to that on the left hand side of the page when you type a post)

If you want to see how someone did a quote or a smiley or a link etc, just click on the edit button of their post and you can see how they formatted it.

Even though I didn't write the original question, thanks. I didn't know that either. I have already used it.
