Mea Culpa, guys. My brain kept thinking yesterday was Sunday, what with the holiday. So I'm a day late with this.
It's that time of the week again, time for the kick in the pants. The idea is that having somewhere to report progress will spur you on to make some. So I'm posing the question to all of us here. Did you write this week? As we have been reminded in the past, writing for the purposes of this thread can mean just about anything you want. You did some editing? Report it here. Outlining, pre-writing or any other kind of prep work? Sure, that counts too. And, of course, writing new work always counts.
In the past week, I managed to finish my latest draft, All Stitched up, the final 3,476 words, for a total of 102,928. I'm now trying not to think about how long this will be after the first round of edits, given mine always grow.
In addition, I've gotten most of the way through the second rounds of edits for the final book in my Mirrors of Bershan Trilogy, The Nine. I should be able to finish that this week and dive into editing something else. It's amazing how much all that piles up while I'm concentrating on writing a draft.

This was a productive week for me! I fixed some problems with prepositions in my submitted MS, communicated with an interested literary agent, started GUTGAA and accomplished 4,000 words of editing (for the 49,000th time) on book 2 of my series which is a trainwreck.
This week I plan to charge through the rest of editing that book. I'm glad we have a place to self-motivate by reporting progress!

I spent the week in the bowels of Adobe InDesign getting two books ready to print. Each of them got a couple of editing passes. I don't know how much new writing that encompassed, but I'll have two books available for POD on Amazon because of last week.

I have not moved out of my mom's house yet, and I hate her keyboard so I have not done any writing.
I have given a lot of thought to a story I am considering and I am glad I did not start writing yet. I figured out how to do it better, and am getting closer to having something that resembles a story. I took the seed scene and split it into two similar scenes, but with a big difference. I do have one scene that I have not figured out where to put it. It is quite important for information, but I cannot decide whether it should be a story ending clean up scene, or a set up for the final battle.
Few story ideas. It does not look good for continuing them.

Saturday was crowded, but I wrote five hundred words on Sunday---then managed it again on Monday, and hope to manage it again before I go to bed today.

A few mini stories on paper but they became flash stories when I typed them out. Except for one that stayed short, short, short.
Started two longer stories. Couldn't make up my mind what I wanted to do SF or fantasy so I started both. The Fantasy might become a book but I'm seriously working on two and sort of working on another two so when would I work on it???
Revised a couple of stories.
E-mails and notes on forums too. Nothing on my blog this week even though I wanted to do a couple of updates.

I've set a 5 page a day goal for myself. I figure that's reasonable for a beginner. I don't have it in me to be a Stephen King. That being said, I failed to write Monday, it being a holiday and all, but I wrote ten pages on Tuesday to make up for it and have suprised myself with how diligent I have been in sticking to my goal.
