Reminds me of a couple of others I've seen, but I'm quite keen to try this one out.
For the clickety clack noises, you can also try a mechanical keyboard for your computer - I haven't yet spent the hard won cash, but I've been quite tempted to get one after reading this post:

I suppose it's okay, but I've found that if I get something with all the bells and whistles, I find something that's so useful I wonder why I didn't seek it out in the first place.
As for wordprocessing itself...well, I didn't go straight into a computer from a typewriter, there was an intermediate stage. I had a couple of what I liked to call "one-lunged word processors"---Smith-Corona issue that just did word processing, and printed by hooking into a printer with ribbon and font-wheels.
(I particularly liked the laptop model, 'cause I could write while lying down in bed. Why I never got a laptop computer, I'll never know. (The price, mostly.))
Of course when I finally did switch over to computers, I found other things to do with it than word-process...
Anyway, right now...Microsoft Works, whatever version this is, does what I want (mostly) and I can live with its imperfections (mostly). Besides, I've gotten so damned used to it...

I'm tempted, Foste. I miss my old keyboard, heavy thing, but it made such sweet noise.
Whenever I feel really down, I go to the biggest computer store in my country and just drool over the keyboards there. Well, I don't really drool, that would be gross, but you get the picture.
