It's that time of the week again, time for the kick in the pants. The idea is that having somewhere to report progress will spur you on to make some. So I'm posing the question to all of us here. Did you write this week? As we have been reminded in the past, writing for the purposes of this thread can mean just about anything you want. You did some editing? Report it here. Outlining, pre-writing or any other kind of prep work? Sure, that counts too. And, of course, writing new work always counts.

Our first one of these for the year. I don't have much to report. I've been wrestling with the end of the next book I'm writing, trying to get it sorted out before I even think about starting to write it. I'm also trying to come up with a new title for it because I now cordially loath the one it has. Nothing's coming, so I guess I'll have to hope something better comes up in the writing process.

Beyond that, I had a couple more story ideas, one of which is screaming my name. Self-control is hard, guys. I want to write this one so bad. Oh well. I'll just have to entertain myself building the story and world. [Wink]

That's it for me. How about you? Did you write?

Yes, I wrote. Mostly on the rewrite of MAGIC AND POWER. I'm paused right now while I figure out a new scene--or two. That's one of the things I have to figure out.

Also, started a couple of new crits and two blog posts.

Nah. Nothing at the new year...then, Friday night to right now, I've been sick. Persistent stomach thing. Killed writing for the rest of the week. Missed work, too.

I did a little bit of writing. I have spent more of my time playing with computers than anything.
I have four E-mail accounts from different companies. The computer I am using at home is windows 95. My favorite E-mail goes into stone age mode when I visit it and now it had a security change and won't let me upload files in Win95. I had to shift some of my activities to another of my E-mail accounts. People ask me why I have several and this is another example of it.

I did come up with a change in one of my stories that I should make. It is more a scenery change than anything.

I made noodles this weekend. That killed some writing time. Compared to bread, making noodles is labor intensive. They are good. I made enough of a noodle dish to have leftovers and ate it all instead...

Hope to get some writing done later this week, but doubt it.
