It has been a while. again.

This is a place to brag about your accomplishments, cry about your failures, and otherwise tell what is going on in your life.

As to what is writing, that is really up to you. New writing, of course, editing, research, rough drafts, fine drafts, stories, articles, blogs, novels, short stories, E-mails if they are wordy and pertain to writing, BB posts pertaining to writing, if YOU think it is writing, it counts.

I've been so busy that I have not had much time for a lot of things, including writing.
A few weeks back, I had written THE END on a rough draft and sent it to my writing partner. I have been swapping to a new computer and that has taken time. I have also been working overtime and that has killed my writing time. I did add a bunch of words to a short I had going. It has a long way to go and I really don't know if I even have a story there. I have a situation but whether it is going to work is up in the air.
I have a stack of papers with story ideas on it. I had stopped posting story ideas two years ago. the ideas have not been coming very well. I had stopped with 40 ideas in my stack. If I have 200 of the ideas there now, I would be very surprised. I tend to get maybe two a week, and lately they have been super hero ideas, I am not sure why. I no longer have time write up and post my story ideas. Any writing time goes to a story.

As to the question of the week, I can say,
YES, I WROTE

DID YOU?

Just got back to writing after 2 weeks off due to very busy work weeks. Working on my own super hero story. I'm very excited about this idea, and I'm pretty in love with how it's coming out. I'm probably about halfway through draft one of a short story. I'm working on writing shorter fiction, so I want this one to come in under 5,000 words (I usually end up around 7,000 to 8,000).

Longtimenosee, but, well...after being in a relatively infertile period, I came up with a couple of ideas, and have written, oh, about twenty-five hundred words of a short story I intend to come out around five thousand words (after cutting).

I've got a vacation coming up in early May; during that time I plan to finish it, polish it in revision, and send it out somewhere---I want to try spending less time on something, to finish it quickly rather than to let it sit in my files for awhile.

I actually did yesterday! Today, I have two hours before my class starts, which I will use to continue writing the sequel to my first book. On top of that, I am editing and reviewing my first book so that I can get it published hopefully soon. I also have at least 5 or 6 short stories and another book that I work on here and there. What can I say, I love to write! I hope to one day have one of my books come to the big screen! It's a dream, but maybe I'll make it happen!

Yes, I wrote. I finished one revision pass through THE SHAMAN'S CURSE. And started some more significant revisions to MAGIC AND POWER.

Also, a couple of crits and two blog posts.
