Feel free to update the NSG Work in Progress thread with your current projects. Although we can report on any number of things, here is a list of suggestions (suggestions welcomed).

Describe what you worked on.
Set goals for next week.
Did you learn something during this week?

Here is a list of things that you can do each week as we work on our novels (suggestions welcomed).

World Building
Relevant research

As for me:

Last Week's Goals:

FIRE AND EARTH (formerly known as SEVEN STARS): Work furiously on the revisions and settle on something for the 35-word pitch.
Complete. And it even got a request (from an agent that rejected a query on this very same story in November). [Big Grin]

BLOOD WILL TELL: Continue working on figuring out marketing.
No time this week, but I have a couple of things bookmarked to take a look at this weekend (hopefully). [Smile]

BLOOD IS THICKER: Let it cool a bit before going back for the next round.
Easy one. [Smile]

THE BARD'S GIFT: Hold off on revisions until I get FIRE AND EARTH back in shape.
Started. I'm on Chapter 2. [Smile]

MAGE STORM: Wait for feedback.
Continuing.

MAGIC'S FOOL: On hold.
Yeah. [Frown]

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.

Yes. [Smile]

Next Week's Goals:

FIRE AND EARTH (formerly known as SEVEN STARS):
Figure out where to go with this story next. There have to be a few agents I haven't queried yet--or could query again.

BLOOD WILL TELL:
Continue working on figuring out marketing.

BLOOD IS THICKER:
Let it cool a bit before going back for the next round.

THE BARD'S GIFT:
Keep working on the revisions. Brace myself to work on the query and write the synopsis. Yech!

MAGE STORM:
Wait for feedback.

MAGIC'S FOOL:
On hold.

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.

First draft of Wildered is done and off to editor, along with cover art for review and revision. 56k words in first draft.

The blasted thing started as a short story. Now, I am already three chapters into book 2 of the trilogy.

Yes, I did work on novels last week.

Some on each of my two WIPs and a tiny bit on the revision of the SC novel.

I interrupted the two WIPs to do a story I wanted to do but still did some work as I said.

I worked on my novel last week. about 500 words. Not enough. I've committed to 1k words per day. I did some reading of OSC Char & VP which got me back on my bicycle. I need to contact my Vet for myself. (research for the story, but it was fun to say that :-))
