Describe what you worked on.
Set goals for next week.
Did you learn something during this week?

Here is a list of things that you can do each week as we work on our novels (suggestions welcomed).

As for me.

Last Week's Goals:

MAGE STORM: Wait out the latest request and a couple of recent queries. Then decide what to do next.
Still waiting. [Frown]

MAGIC AND POWER: Send out three more queries.
Done. [Smile]

THE SHAMAN'S CURSE: Launch.
Done. It's going pretty well. Not phenomenally well, but better than my previous launches. That's the point after all. To do at least a little better than the last time. [Smile]

DREAMER'S ROSE: Pause, for now.
Easy one. [Smile]

THE IGNORED PROPHECY: Keep working through this first draft of the rewrite. Try for a chapter a day. For accountability purposes, that's through Chapter 40.
Done! [Big Grin]

WEIRD OZ: I've finally started to get some new ideas on how to fix this one. For now, just jot those ideas down as they come and let them percolate.
Still allowing some ideas to ferment. [Smile]

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Yes. [Smile]

Next Week's Goals:

MAGE STORM:
Wait out the latest request and a couple of recent queries. Then decide what to do next. Try a small publisher, maybe. I've finished a lecture series by David Farland (Dave Wolverton) on writing for MG and YA. I may decide to make a change or two based on that.

MAGIC AND POWER:
Send out three more queries.

THE SHAMAN'S CURSE:
Continue promotion efforts. Some won't pay off, but that's part of the process too.

DREAMER'S ROSE:
Pause, for now.

THE IGNORED PROPHECY:
Keep working through this first draft of the rewrite. This week I'll have one entirely new chapter to write so I'll set the goal at Chapter 45.

WEIRD OZ:
I've finally started to get some new ideas on how to fix this one. For now, just jot those ideas down as they come and let them percolate.

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.

Well, I didn't get anything done that I planned to do. Work commitments and the subsequent lack of time didn't let me. And, as I don't know what this week will bring I'll just have to wing it without any firm goals for the week.

For a bitter tirade about the tyranny of work, read THIS

Phil.

Did a little writing on Angel Kin, my MC has just been told an intriguing theory on why she is the way she is. And she had to think about it.

And still dealing with my E-novel---Above My Pay Grade X2.

Turns out some how half of my corrections on the first chapter didn't get saved or I didn't do them for some strange unknown reason. So I had to go back over it. Now to double--or is that triple--check the rest of the chapters.
