Did you learn something during this week?

Here is a list of things that you can do each week as we work on our novels (suggestions welcomed).

As for me.

Last Week's Goals:

MAGE STORM: Think about what to do next: submit to a small press or rewrite to a slightly older protagonist.
Didn't really give this one much thought this week. [Frown]

MAGIC AND POWER: Send out three more queries. Prepare pitch for WriteOnCon.
Yes. [Smile] WriteOnCon was an extreme disappointment this year, though. [Frown]

THE SHAMAN'S CURSE: Do some promotion to try to keep this going well.
Not yet, but I'm going to need to do something this week. [Frown]

DREAMER'S ROSE: Pause, for now.
Easy one. [Smile]

THE IGNORED PROPHECY: Finish the third draft. Start going back to consider scenes marked for possible deletion.
Done. Ready for beta readers. [Big Grin]

WEIRD OZ: Let the new ideas ferment a bit.
Still fermenting. [Smile]

OTHER: Update my blog twice a week.
Yes. [Smile]

Next Week's Goals:

MAGE STORM:
Think about submitting this to a small publisher. But I may want to rewrite it with a slightly older protagonist first. I won't have an opening to do that for a couple of months.

MAGIC AND POWER:
Send out three more queries.

THE SHAMAN'S CURSE:
Do some promotion to try to keep this going well.

THE IGNORED PROPHECY:
Wait for beta readers.

PATHS OF CHAOS: (I really need a better title for this one.)
Book 3 of the series that starts with THE SHAMAN'S CURSE and continues in THE IGNORED PROPHECY. Start first draft.

DREAMER'S ROSE:
Pause, for now.

WEIRD OZ:
Let the new ideas ferment a bit.

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.

I spent most of my time this week 'rebranding' a trilogy that hasn't gone anywhere on Amazon. New covers, new titles, added in some magic. It takes a lot of time to just 'tweak' a book.

This week I'll be sending out queries for Warstone and continue to work on the rebranding. The problem with new titles is that I have to modify all of my published works to reflect the change.

Worked a little on the steam-dragonpunk novel and it might be the last I work on it for a while--my laptop acted up and it looks like the hard drive.
