As for me:
Last Week's Goals: DUAL MAGICS SERIES (THE SHAMAN'S CURSE, THE VOICE OF PROPHECY, BEYOND THE PROPHECY,and WAR OF MAGIC): Plan at least one more promotion of the audiobook. Well, I think I know what I'm going to do, but I want to see how the group promotion scheduled for next week goes, first. Probably wait until the wave that hopefully generates starts to ebb.
Wide Distribution Project: Prepare the files for BY SWORD, TALE, OR MAGIC, but hold off until the Amazon issue is resolved. BY SWORD, TALE, OR MAGIC is up through Pronoun. Still waiting for Amazon to resolve--or figure out--the issue. (For some reason, all the text turned red.]
BECOME: BROTHERS: Promote on social media. No, and I should go do that now.
BECOME: TO CATCH THE LIGHTNING: Keep on writing. Yes.
MAGE STORM: Probably nothing this week. Good call.

Wide Distribution Project: Wait for Amazon to resolve its issue. Everything but the short stories/novella are done otherwise. Consider which of the shorts, if any, I want to publish beyond Amazon.

Ten tons of research, a few weeks with no sleep, and I have a full first draft of my very first modern dramatic novel.
This came out of left field for me since I'm more a sci fi/fantasy writer. I didn't think I had anything to say about our day and age. The most surprising part is it has nothing to do with the current political and racial tensions going on.
I want to be happy, but I unfortunately already know the work that lays ahead and the time it takes to get to a final draft.
The second draft is going to be rough. Que the music -- IT'S GRAMMER TIME!

Funny thing happened on the way to the forum . . .
Guy gets mad as he reads from my computer screen seven lines from my new book and mocks it. Then his girlfriend turns and starts to try and explain it to him. He got mad at me! She started asking me questions, the more she asked, the madder he got.
