Welcome to this week's Novel Support Group. Anyone can join. If you're new, tell us a bit about who you are and what project you are working on. Feel free to update the NSG Work in Progress thread with your current projects. Although we can report on any number of things, here is a list of suggestions (suggestions welcomed).

What were your goals last week and did you accomplish them?
Describe what you worked on.
Set goals for next week.
Did you learn something during this week?

Here is a list of things that you can do each week as we work on our novels (suggestions welcomed).

Writing on a novel
Characterization
World Building
Relevant research

As for me:

Last Week's Goals:

DUAL MAGICS SERIES (THE SHAMAN'S CURSE, THE VOICE OF PROPHECY, BEYOND THE PROPHECY,and WAR OF MAGIC): Lower prices for promo the following week.
Not yet. It's a little early still. (The promo's not until the 19th.) But I'll likely take care of that tomorrow. [Wink]

Wide Distribution Project: Continue to wait for Amazon to resolve its issue (turning the text red). Everything but the short stories/novella are done otherwise.
Yeah. Time to face facts. Despite the "oh, we're still looking into it" emails, nobody is looking into it. The Zon does not care. Time to start formulating another plan. [Mad]

BECOME: BROTHERS: Promote on social media.
Some. [Smile]

BECOME: TO CATCH THE LIGHTNING: Keep on writing.
Yes! [Big Grin]

MAGE STORM: Probably nothing this week.
Good call. [Smile]

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Yes. [Smile]

Next Week's Goals:

DUAL MAGICS SERIES (THE SHAMAN'S CURSE, THE VOICE OF PROPHECY, BEYOND THE PROPHECY,and WAR OF MAGIC):
Lower prices for promo next week.

Wide Distribution Project:
Since it's clear that Amazon never will resolve this issue (turning the text red!), it's time to start looking for another solution.

BECOME: BROTHERS:
Promote on social media.

BECOME: TO CATCH THE LIGHTNING:
Keep on writing.

MAGE STORM:
Probably nothing this week.

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.

Narrative model realization for a project a few weeks ago led to realization of another feature I struggled to realize; that is, a subtext transformative character movement feature related to a proverb or saying -- somewhat message-driven, though the source of the message realization's causation, not the message itself. No labels for either of these presents from my studies. Frustration, that. If those had extant labels, those would be someone else's ideas and more accessible. Originality potentials maybe, or missed by all and sundry interpretations of standouts from the literary opus that contain those features, latitude then, too, for deeper analyses and, regardless, craft development opportunity.

Almost drive my to cussing missed another week when I think I am doing fine.

But I did manage to work on that dragon punk-steampunk-historical fiction doohickey I am doing. I forgot to mention the last couple of times I was here but while I said I was working on the last chapter even though it will turn into third or fourth or fifth chapter. What I failed to say is that I was redoing the first two thousand words of said chapter. A few weeks ago I had to redo something in the opening of that chapter. While there I realized how bad a job I had done on it. It had just the basics and not much of that. So I went back and added descriptions: of the passenger dragon, the flight to his home town; the airport there, the steam station wagon his mother picked them up in and his childhood house. Hmm, not sure if I described his mother. But other than that I am now continuing onward in the chapter.

Good news on my The Courier . I now have a proofreader-not too expensive but still... The cover situation is another matter. I need a high resolution of the pic I wanted to use and so far haven't heard back from the artist.

Almost done with my revision of Journery of Mystery out of 39 segments or chapters I have six left to do.

Got further in that Steampunk Urban Fantasy without a title mix I am doing. Didn't plan to but set up two future events which I am okay with.
