Welcome to this week's Novel Support Group. Anyone can join. If you're new, tell us a bit about who you are and what project you are working on. Feel free to update the NSG Work in Progress thread with your current projects. Although we can report on any number of things, here is a list of suggestions (suggestions welcomed).

What were your goals last week and did you accomplish them?
Describe what you worked on.
Set goals for next week.
Did you learn something during this week?

Here is a list of things that you can do each week as we work on our novels (suggestions welcomed).

Writing on a novel
Characterization
World Building
Relevant research

As for me:

Last Week's Goals:

DUAL MAGICS SERIES (THE SHAMAN'S CURSE, THE VOICE OF PROPHECY, BEYOND THE PROPHECY,and WAR OF MAGIC): Complete at least the next step to set up a mailing list and start preparing first newsletter. Really.
Well, yes. One step. [Smile]

DUAL MAGICS SERIES: As time permits, go through the x-ray listings for the Dual Magics boxed set and THE BARD'S GIFT.
LOL. [Razz]

BECOME: TO CATCH THE LIGHTNING: Let it rest before beginning revisions.
Easy one. [Big Grin]

BECOME: TO RIDE THE STORM: Keep working. I urgently need to get a feel for how long this one is going to be as that could impact my publication schedule.
Proceeding well. [Big Grin]

Wide Distribution Project (redux):
Final check that the five books I've removed already are cleared from other sites, then put them back into Kindle Select.
Remove all of the Dual Magics series from Pronoun and prepare to distribute through Draft2Digital.
First five cleared and up on KU.
Dual Magics removed. [Big Grin]
OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Yes. LD

Next Week's Goals:

DUAL MAGICS SERIES (THE SHAMAN'S CURSE, THE VOICE OF PROPHECY, BEYOND THE PROPHECY,and WAR OF MAGIC):
Complete at least the next step to set up a mailing list and start preparing first newsletter. Really. One step at a time, or a week, it seems.

DUAL MAGICS SERIES:
As time permits, go through the x-ray listings for the Dual Magics boxed set and THE BARD'S GIFT.

BECOME: TO CATCH THE LIGHTNING:
Let it rest before beginning revisions.

BECOME: TO RIDE THE STORM:
Keep working. About to start Chapter 8. I urgently need to get a feel for how long this one is going to be as that could impact my publication schedule.

Wide Distribution Project (redux):
Final check that all of the Dual Magics series from Pronoun and prepare to distribute through Draft2Digital.

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.

The project moves forward on creative energy rockets. Storyboard showed a gap for the start scene, and other gaps and extraneous pieces. Dramatic movement incitement shortfalls most of all, for the start. Once identified and realized, a plan revision adjusted the start scene's dramatic energy and, lo and behold, stronger overall setup for the whole's unity, movement, true meaning, and subtext design.

I was going to say someone h it me over the head next week so I can post here but it might be the same as this week.

Still going through the corrections of Courier. I might be done the last week of Feb.

But good news on my novel of stories I did for NaNo. One editor likes them, over all. So a little bit more work and they will be ready for a a proofreader. That includes a sixth story that will be the conclusion.

Still want a beta reader for Journey.

Seems like there was something else to do with novels but I am not sure now. If I recall it I will be back.
