Hello everyone, my name is Frank. I actually stumbled across this forum while googling "So I wrote a novel." [Smile]

So far I'm very impressed and excited. I've learned alot (like the first 13 lines and the prologue thing). I look forward to soaking up all the information I can get here and contributing as well.

My background consists of BA in English and a bunch of years writing poetry and short stories. Nothing published (except for one thing in my school's magazine). I write for me.

My favorites: James Baldwin, Seamus Heaney, Czeslaw Milosz , Friedrich Nietzsche, and George R.R. Martin (I fell on the ASOFAI bandwagon).

I'm currently reading Paradise Lost, I absolutely love it but it's hard for me to get through.

Look forward to talking with everyone.

Welcome. Jump right in, the water's fine.

I've tried reading Paradise Lost four times and the farthest I've gotten is half-way. I suppose it might be time to give it another go.

Sounds like you jumped in before introducing yourself but that's fine just be careful around the treehouse though. You may have discovered the unicorn...if not remember she can be snarky at times.
