Intelligent, socially invisible 14-year-old whose twin sister, Callie, is popular and athletic. Just discovered he's one of 7 kids who are descended from Cu Chulainn, Ireland's greatest hero, and that it will be his task to protect both the magical and mundane worlds from an ancient Celtic demon, Crom Cruach. Is excited at the prospect of being someone for a change and making new friends, but doubts his ability to play superhero when he still get regularly suckerpunched by the school bully, Andre.

Maybe I did this wrong. I thought I was supposed to introduce my character and then I could answer your questions as him. But yes: he will, indeed.

Well, mostly, those who've posted here, wrote as their characters from the start, the first post, first person, and we responded as if those characters were posting about their lives and histories. But there's no reason why we can't look at them the other way, in third person; far as I know, there's no hard-and-fast rules about presentation.

Er... hi? My name's Bodie. I appreciate you guys taking the time to talk to me. I sort of don't have anyone else to turn to, you know? I can't talk to my Mom, because she blows everything out of proportion as it is. Can you imagine? "Mom, I'm supposed to save the world from this demon guy, but it's cool, because I've maybe got superpowers." I'd be grounded for life and the world be damned.
My friends are no help either, because they totally buy into this whole thing. Lannach and Gal have literally spent their whole lives preparing to train me (which is probably why Lannach is so strict and Gal is so sulky). Earrach is cool, but I think he'd give anything to get this much attention from his Mom.
So. How am I supposed to save the world when I still get pummeled by stupid Andre Belcher every week?
It's ok. You probably don't know the answer, either. But if you have any advice, I'll sure take it!

What does O'Connor personally want for himself? A clue from that he wants to be "someone." What does that personally mean for O'Connor? Mere end to bullies? Overlord of the cosmos? High chieftain of Tara? Master king of the Derry Hill landfill recycle facility discards?
The rest -- external and superficial action. Meaningful, appealing action, action that develops character, personality, and basic nature and behavior is internal: from personal want satisfaction efforts. Could O'Connor's internal want be, to himself, want to be wanted, and unaware he strives to do that by imposing his will and fear upon all he surveys? They are at his convenience and mercy? He wants to be in charge of everyone?
Now that's a moral crisis complication worthy of an internal action and one with proportionate satisfying acts and potential outcome ends. Fits early adult age range: eighteen to twenty-five; that is, the life stage of adult empowerment that realizes adult rights and privileges come with attendant adult responsibilities and obligations.

Uhh... why are you talking about me like I'm not even here? And I hate it when people call me "O'Connor." It's dehumanizing. I'm not a football player or a track star, and you're not my coach. I'm just a regular kid. My name's Bodie.
I don't want to want to be anyone's 'Overlord.' I don't want to impose my will and rule by fear. What is that crap? I feel like you don't get me at all. I came here for help, and instead you're putting words into my mouth. I don't WANT this responsibility. It makes no sense. Why isn't there some buff, 40-year-old dude around to take care of this? Who makes a hero out of a scrawny 14-year-old? Not my idea of a good plan, but apparently, I have no say in the matter.
If it's "internal conflict" you want, I've got plenty, thanks. But I'm not going to just shout it out from the rooftops for some random weirdo who thinks I'm Darth Vader in disguise or something.

So, Bodie, looks like you're in two bad situations---but whatever you do in solving the one, saving the world from this demon guy, might not help you with Problem Number Two, dealing with Andre the Bully. Using the forces from Problem One might make Problem Two worse.

Heya, Bodie. My question is why you're still worried about Andre. If you're taking this super-power/demon stuff seriously, the school bully doesn't really rate, does he? Or do you still sort of doubt that things are for real? Or maybe you're worried that whatever powers you have are some kind of 0%-off or 100%-on, so using them to deal with Andre would mean you blow up the school building? (PS - Better be careful. Have you considered looking for help in the few friends you might have? There was a fabled demon slayer from my side of the pond who triumphed over evil time and again, with help from her everyday friends.
