I wanted to change the name of the thread i posted last night, because i figured a better tagline must be what gets some stories looked at and others not. I saw the posting this morning about doing all of the work or just 13 lines, and frankly, either way is fine with me, though what i really came here for is to have somebody look the whole thing over, because i want to firm up my foundation before i start writing chapter two. will somebody read it for me? even just 13 lines?

Is it just a chapter? If so then I'd be happy to try and help If you're talking about a whole novel then I'm afraid I don't have that much time

I'll take a look at your chapter. And you're right, it's important to have a good foundation in a novel. I've had more problems because of problematic early chapters than any other thing.
