River Walk is also taking Stone Musings #1, and if I revise #3 quickly enough, and if they like it, the have said that they might take #3 as well! So, for bragging rights, does that count as 1 pub, or 3? They might all show up in the same issue.

Shoot. Now I have to make #3 work and it has serious flaws. Help!

Congratulations!

If you're saying you want someone to take a look, I'd be willing.

Yes, please, if you have the time. I will revise tonight and send it tomorrow am.

I'm not sure how many pubs it counts for, but it's cool nonetheless.

If you can wait untill Monday for an answer, send it to me.

I would count it as 3.

Congratulations!

Count it as THREE!

How soon do you need it? I could take a look for you as well.

Three! I'm swamped or I'd offer to read it. The flaws can't be that serious if they are interested in it.

He shoots! Three Points! Good going, Mike.

Thanks guys.

MaryRobinette, they were interested without even seeing it. I had casually mentioned that 1,2 and 3 were meant to be taken in context (with one another) and they asked to see 3 as well and offered to include it with 1 and 2 if it was good enough. So, my bet is that there is something about these that fits in with their theme for the next issue somehow, as it is their first anniversary issue and they are supposed to have a 'theme'. I wonder why they're keeping the theme a secret?

We all should have such problems. Nice going, Mike.

Thank you. They just sent me the Journal in pdf. The web site isn't updated yet. If you want the Journal, email me. They included all 3. #1 had previously been rejected by someone they recommended, so I guess that it only works well when taken in context with the others. Which IS kinda how I wrote them, after all.

They're up! http://www.riverwalkjournal.org/ And I got top billing! How cool. Maybe next time the Editor will figure out that my name is NOT Jim. LOL
