www.MechmMuse.com is a new online venture that is producing all of it's short stories as audio files. They're doing it with a group based in Hollywood, so the production quality is high, and they have a composer doing accompanying music and professional actors reading the stories. And it just so happens that the first issue has stories from four former Boot Campers (including myself).

Each issue has a $7 price tag, which I will admit concerned me at first. But when I saw that there were 7 short stories and an entire novel I felt a whole lot better. That's a lot of audio for only seven bucks. And regardless of everything else, I have to tell you, it was sooooooo cool to get to hear an actor read one of my stories.

That is totally cool. Audio is the coming thing, though I'm not sure I'll ever get used to the idea.
