The first in a series of five kid's fantasy chapbooks is out and available through the Genre Mall. Here's the press release text:

Cadida, the young heroine of several aladdinesque tales by Marva Dasef, is in trouble again, according to her latest exploit, titled Cadida And The Djinn. Her problem is that she's rich and she's bored.

So what's she going to do? Why, get herself captured by raiders and thrown into a cave to be sacrificed to a demon, that's what. Cadida soon discovers there isn't a demon, but a Djinn named Bascoda on the lookout for a new master. After that? Cadida has to figure out for herself how to escape from the raiders. Her brand-new genie proves less than useful and a handsome sheik doesn't come to her rescue. Having to rely on her own wits, Cadida discovers she's more resourceful than she knew.

Cadida And The Djinn is an illustrated story chapbook written by Marva Dasef, illustrated by 7ARS, and published by Sam's Dot Publishing. Written for young adults, it's an entertaining tale for readers of all ages.

This is the first in a series of five chapbooks following the adventures of Cadida and her magical friends.
