The Purple Pillar, a recent flash written for a LH Flash Challenge found a home at The Cynic Online Magazine. (www.cynicmag.com)I think the opening was on F&F.
It was a bit quirky and needed a special home. The story's up for publication on 9/16

Meredith,It was a not-quite-Brull story.
The Sword of Spells is there, but Brull's real personality isn't. It's a quirky parody.
