Talk about taking a project up to the deadline: I sent off "Snake Oil" to the "Six Guns Straight From Hell" Western horror anthology two days before the submission deadline. Twelve hours later, I received a rewrite request and had 36 hours to turn the story around and get it back in. This afternoon, I received word of my acceptance!
That brings my total sales tally to 3.

Thank you, all. I'm psyched, especially about the official book release party and signing next month here in Denver. I've never been on the signing end of a book signing before.

Fastest turnaround ever: Two weeks after receiving my acceptance, the anthology is available for purchase on Amazon.com. I really got in under the wire. (Plus, I love the cover.)
