I am pleased to announce after a few we almost took it rejections from a couple of editors for this one, A Dead Profession will be a part of On The Premises.
For those unfamiliar with the publication, OTP runs a contest based on a very loose theme. The contest is open to all genres and the editors serve as the slush readers. They pick the top ten (out of a 168 entries) and send them to a group of judges. My humor sci-fi struck a cord with enough of the judges to finish in the top half of the ten. Although I didn't get one of the top three prizes, I got an Honorable mention, which translates into a publication and a few bucks as well. I'm happy
