At least in the preliminary schedule, I got onto five panels at World Con. When I applied I threw a pretty wide net, because with only two pro publishing credits I wasn't sure I'd get on any. I was shocked when they scheduled me for five. This is going to be a fun Con, and a learning experience.

Now the question is... How can I get myself to San Antonio?!

I'll be in San Antonio, but I didn't apply to be on any Panels. I should have. Oops.

Thanks all. These are my panels:

"Keeping Control of a Long Series"

"Bujold's Vorkosigan Universe"

"Should SF consider the Aspects of the Future rather than Predicting the Future?"

"Care and Feeding of Your Aliens and Magical Beings"

"Treasuring Art"

Woah, I live so close!! I'll do my best to go.

It's really expensive though. But I don't even care because the fact that this exists so close to where I live is awesome. Goodbye food.

Have a great time Genei and congrats on all your panels. I'm missing out on Dragon Con this year and they have some pretty nice writing panels I would have loved to have gone to. But, it's a pretty expensive trip from Oregon to Atlanta for 5 days. Maybe next year. kt

I'm going to try to blog while I'm at the con, but no promises. If I do though, this is where you'll find it.

Ambitious. I didn't even want to promise I would Tweet. LOL I'll probably blog about it when I get home.

Tweeting might be doable. There are certainly times at even such big cons where you need to just sit down and watch the hall costumes go by. It's also interesting to see what comes to you when you are the one not moving.

I'll be tweeting too. As mentioned, that's even more likely.

My first blog post about the first day of the con is up. Trust me, it gets more exciting. Much more.

Ahh genevive, we never saw each other again!

WorldCon was the best experience of my life. I cannot believe this thing exists. The Hugos were magical. Any blog post of mine would not do this justice (though this is partially because I am too tired to blog about this properly).

My second blog on World Con is up. I guarantee you'll learn something if you read.

tesknota, sorry, I had a very busy schedule. I'm glad you had a good time and I completely understand your exhaustion. This is why my blog posts are taking so long. Well, that and since I got back I've been writing new material like crazy. This con has given me a real boost.

Best day at the con is now up on my blog. I met Lois McMaster Bujold and Astronaut Cady Coleman. A really fantastic day!
