Except for the inevitable rewrites, my WIP is FINISHED. As of midnight, Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, 2005. It's at 115K words, 5K more than I wanted.

Very nice....with any luck I will be joining you in celebration late next week, although my novel is only aimed at 80k words.

Tanglier: I started researching in August, skipped November, and started writing Dec 1. I was pretty consistent because I was part of a psych experiment where we had to mail in the new text every day, so it made me get started and stay with it. My consistency dropped off after the experiment ended. The most important thing it did was show me: I get nothing written until I *get started*.
