I was just wondering if anyone knows some really good grammer books that are not too boring. Or good sites to help with grammer.

Also, check out the "Writing Class" section. There are some grammar exercises there.

A good book for basic grammar is "Elements of Style" by Strunk and White. It is in the public domain and is available to read at Bartleby.com. Apparently OSC has issues with it. From what I understand, a lot of writers read books like this and then try to follow the rules to a T. While the rules should often be followed, there are times when you can or should break them. Of course you do need to know the rules first.

Well, so much for my joke about grammer AND speling. Anyway, I think Elements of Style is great, but I'd be willing to hear an alternative.

I don't think anything can make grammar interesting, but Elements is brief, which is the next best thing!

The Little Brown Handbook is pretty decent - but it's far from little. Also has a lot of good info on all kinds of writing AND contains the multitude of rules for APA, Chicago and MLA style.
