I much enjoyed this parody of the Da Vinci code.

That was very good. I loved it! I actually couldn't make myself read the Da Vinci Code. I did try once but the writing was so bad I had to stop. Life's too short to torture myself like that. The parody brings out all the reasons why I hated the book (I haven't seen the movie either). Thanks!

Having read bits and pieces of the Da Vinci Code, I refuse to read the rest. That piece was brilliant. I loved it. Thanks for posting it for us.

I have read the Da Vinci code, and that satire was absolutely hilarious!

If it were a little longer, Hollywood would make a movie out of it.

I read the book in 2 days. It's nearly 100% dialogue, so anybody should be able to get through it quickly.

It was a neat little story, but not excellently written. I think that a lot of the negative comments on this board about Mr. Brown stem from jealousy. He's something that we all want to be:

rich and published.

Rich, published, and did it by being a horrible author and a damn good conspiracy theorist. It's every writers dream to be rich and hated, because that means more sales. Look at Danielle Stelle!

I made it through the book. The writing was bad, the story interesting and plot okay. The parody was better, though.

No, I'm not jealous of Dan Brown. I'm jealous of Orson Scott Card. He may not be as rich, but he's a genius. I have the same jealousy of Dan Brown as I have of Paris Hilton.

lol. Excellent comparison.

I couldn't finish Da Vinci, and that had every reason why. That was excellent.

That's a good comparison with Paris Hilton, too.

Except that we actually would like seeing Dan Brown stripped naked before he was thrown in a deep fat fryer. We'd prefer that Paris keep her clothes on for once.

I laughed until I cried, and then stuck it on my blog as an example for my dear Philistines to emulate.

It was that good. Bravo!

But think! If we were all as lucky as Dan Brown, we all would have been published ages ago!

Yeah...and all be laughingstocks the world over. I'm not sure the money is worth it.

By the way, this one is pretty good too.

It was getting funnier and funnier until the end; I didn't get the punch line apparently. I guess you can email me an explanation. Or, you know, put it in a code.

It's...quite profound, really.

I made it through the book but only because I was stranded without anything else to read, that's what happens when you're a junkie, you'll go for anything.
The plot, let's face it, was melodrama. But melodrama can almost always be made entertaining (look at soap operas) The writing was so bad it murdered the plot... in the Louvre.

I've been looking for my Louvre, but I can't find it. Someone told me it was just above my tail bone.
