Last night I printed out, for a friend to proof this week, the last major revision of my novel.
It feels like finishing graduate school. It feels strange, because I no longer have this Thing to do all the time. I don't miss it. I have time for a life! For a while, I think.
Whew!

You've got time until the next time you can't stop yourself from writing again.
Good job, though.

Hmmm.
What about Na No Wri Mo 2006?
Never to early to plan for that, besides, I think it would be good for you to try it. In fact, I'd like to insist upon it. It gave me the push I needed.
Congrats on the print out. Are they going to do a chapter by chapter review, or the whole shebang at once.
Please keep us all posted on how it goes.

Good luck. With my current novel, it seems a right mess...but it's spilling out so fast I'm reluctant to start trying to research what I need to know, or even make more than quick revisions. I dread dealing with it when I reach the end---if I get that far.
