Two and a half years ago, I posted the first thirteen lines of a story called "The First Ambassador" in the Fragment & Feedback forum: http://www.hatrack.com/forums/writers/forum/Forum11/HTML/000225.html

Today that story, retitled as "Tabloid Reporter to the Stars," sold to Intergalactic Medicine Show.

Yay! That's still my favorite short story, you know. I liked the old title better, but I guess I'm just a sucker for double meanings.
