I need help seeking agents to query. What I'm looking for are agents who seem to like representing sci-fi-fantasy crossovers. For example magic and future technology existing in the same environment. Thanks.

One thing I can suggest is trying Querytracker.net. They have a search agents function which allows searching for agents with an interest in certain areas. While it doesn't allow for cross-overs you can at least search for two genres and those might give you people who would be interested in a cross-over. The only other suggestion I can make is to see who agents for writers who do cross-overs. Agentquery also has a pretty extensive list of who agents for whom or I can check in Publisher's Marketplace for you if you don't have a subscription.

Publishers Marketplace frequently shows who represents whom, so if you'll let me know what authors write the kind of cross-genre you're talking about there's a fair chance I can find out who represents them.

There's no short cut to research, I'm afraid. Part of being a professional writer, I think, is knowing what's out there, and who is doing what. So, go back to books that you like, go back to books similar in genre to yours. Sometimes you can check the acknowledgments page--authors will frequently list their agent there. Or you can look up the book through Publisher's Weekly to determine who was involved in that deal. Or you can troll through various agent pages in Google, or look up the agents that go to conventions, that sort of thing. Since no one else here knows what your book is I don't think we can give you more specific recommendations.

I just heard about a website that may help with this (on a local writers email list), but I don't know anything about how good or reliable the site is. I merely offer it as a possible resource.
