Those were the last two words I typed on my first draft. 104,000 words.

... and the computer said, "The End--Are you Sure? Click Yes or No" ...

But seriously, what a great way to end the year, must be gratifying.

Nothing is more fun than being able to write those two little words, "The End."

After you write "The End" (and congrats on that!) and spend some time celebrating, it's time to take some time off and relax, read, snooze, read some more, play with other story ideas, and get your mind off of this story while somebody (or a team of other folks) reads it to give you input on it to prepare you for your revision. That time away from the novel will be great for you, because then when you read it again, it will be fresh for you. So kudos on finishing, enjoy your vacation from it, and good luck on revising and selling it!

Lynda
