Haven't posted here in a while, but I've read pretty much every new topic. I have to say that these forums are a stellar help to any writer.
The problem I am having is that i think i need someone who is a native English speaker, to see if what i write is ...well, readable. I know I'm asking for much, i know. All I'd like from this person is to read what i have, and tell me, does it sound good? I don't need any comments, or anything in depth, i know that everyone here has their hands busy with their own writing.
Thank you in advance.

Well, what you've posted there seems thoroughly competent to me - I wouldn't know you weren't a native ENglish speaker from that!

What is it that you want looked over? A short story? A novel? All your work?

A novel I'm working on, no use to send it unfinished, so I'll show it when it's done (prolly December).

You might make a choice as to which version of native English you are seeking. My observations, within my writing groups, are that English can take different twists and turns depending on if it's written by an American, someone from Great Britain, or someone from Down Under. Slang, especially, can have completely different meanings from one country to the next.
