If you wish you can pen another entry and enter it in PART 2 of the competition--this is for SECOND entries only, i.e. people have already submitted to part one.
The entries in PART 2 will be judged against each other ONLY and should be the lesser of your 2 entries--this is to keep the main competition as the main one, and also to keep it fair as some will only enter once.
You will of course be required to vote in both the main competition and the secondary competition (if you entered both) or risk disqualification (in any competition you've entered but you don't vote in--crits are voluntary).
If you only enter the main competition you need only vote in the main.
Other than that the closing dates, judging dates and rules remain the same as the main competition.

sure, why not? I'll bite.
EDIT - how do we determine if it's lesser? Should write a horrible one?...

Think of the second competition as creative over-flow--sewage of the mind.
We usually come up with a few ideas prior to posting in a competition. The second competition is where to post your also-ran ideas. Of course, it may be you like your second effort more--perhaps next time, then, you won't be so hasty posting early!
