If you are planning on entering a short story in the Writers of the Future contest, and want to post 13 lines from it in the Fragments and Feedback for Short Stories area, please be sure to avoid saying anything about Writers of the Future (or using the abbreviation WotF) in your post.Writers of the Future requires entrants to be completely anonymous, and even though usernames on the forum contribute to that, a story that is posted as being planned as an entry in the Writers of the Future contest can be disqualified by virtue of being posted as such.
I also not that they are currently allowing published works into the competition, so long as they were not published by at professional rates. It seems that KDW (from WOTF) is giving more leeway. Does the above advise still stand?
Since the original question has been answered that is figured out, I thought I would ask another one since this is for WotF.
Has anyone been reading the spotlight on winners section of the Newsletter? If so do you find anything they say helpful in writing?
And while I'm at it, does anyone know if they will be spotlighting the two winners from here?
