It's that time of the week again, time for the kick in the pants. The idea is that having somewhere to report progress will spur you on to make some. So I'm posing the question to all of us here. Did you write this week? As we have been reminded in the past, writing for the purposes of this thread can mean just about anything you want. You did some editing? Report it here. Outlining, pre-writing or any other kind of prep work? Sure, that counts too. And, of course, writing new work always counts.

My week was a little slower for amount written, largely due to an unexpected detour in the story. The amount I write is always related to how much prep work I did, and with the detour, I didn't do any. Still, another 26,056 words added to All Stitched Up isn't too bad either. The total as of last night was 99,452 words, and I only have a couple of chapters to do before writing the magic words.

I also did a few notes on the final book in that trilogy, and some notes on another idea that's almost certainly my next project after I finish this trilogy.

I did a few blog posts as well.

How about everyone else?

I wrote. Mostly on the first draft of THE BARD'S GIFT. A little on the revision to MAGE STORM.

Plus a crit and two blog posts.

For the first time in months I wrote.

Had most of a story written up in snippets. Spent the last couple days linking snippets together and managed to do about 45 pages.

Yes, but little. 2 weeks ago I got accepted to an anthology and thought I would be spurred on for more writing, but it seems to have done the opposite, draining my muse

I wrote five hundred words on Thursday, expecting to pick up the pace the rest of the week---only Friday through Monday proved to be kinda busy, what with lawnmowing and union meetings and exhaustion and assorted family things. I might as well wish better luck to me next week.
