It's that time of the week again, time for the kick in the pants. The idea is that having somewhere to report progress will spur you on to make some. So I'm posing the question to all of us here. Did you write this week? As we have been reminded in the past, writing for the purposes of this thread can mean just about anything you want. You did some editing? Report it here. Outlining, pre-writing or any other kind of prep work? Sure, that counts too. And, of course, writing new work always counts.

I was an editing fiend this week, and only have 2 chapters left in this second round on Where The Ether Flows. After that's done tonight, I'll have to decide what I'm going to do next. Probably outline my NaNo novel so it has time to sit, then be reviewed before November rolls around.

Also, two or three new idea fragments came to me, dutifully noted down now, and another project exploded in my head. I now know what my next 3 projects are going to be, and they're all trilogies. Um... Yeah, I'd better get busy.

I put up a few blog posts as well.

How about you? Did you write?

Yes, I did. I finished the first draft of THE BARD'S GIFT. Yay!

Also, a few crits and two blog posts.

I tried. I've re-worded and re-worded the 1st 13 I put up here. I also went back to the opening chapter of Hatchling and started making big changes in POV and 'showing' everything I was 'telling'. I also started a siege and repulsed the first attack; everyone who's not a veteran has lost their lunch as they breathe in the wonderful smells of fresh spilt blood, faeces and vomit. Yumm...

I managed five hundred words a day up through Saturday, even on Friday, which is usually a busy day...I seemed on a pace to write every day...but then Sunday got too busy and Monday was busy too...damn...
