Since there are a lot of SF writers here, I thought I'd let you all know about a free college-level course offered on the internet.

Astrobiology and the Search for Extraterristrial Life is being offered at Coursera starting Jan. 28. The instructor is Charles Cockell
from the University of Edinburgh.

Most courses on Coursera are videos you watch over the internet. There may be quizes and most likely tests, and maybe even papers to write, all of which are also done over the 'net.

The course is free. It takes about 20 seconds to sign up. If you pass, you'll get a certificate. If you don't pass, who cares? [Smile]

I'm hoping it will help me add a bit more S to my SF. I just hope I have the time for it...
