It's that time of the week again, time for the kick in the pants. The idea is that having somewhere to report progress will spur you on to make some. So I'm posing the question to all of us here. Did you write this week? As we have been reminded in the past, writing for the purposes of this thread can mean just about anything you want. You did some editing? Report it here. Outlining, pre-writing or any other kind of prep work? Sure, that counts too. And, of course, writing new work always counts.

I worked more on a short story I started last week and began thinking my way through a novel that needs to be totally rewritten. A couple new ideas for stories rounded out my week.

That's it for me. How about you? Did you write?

Yes, I wrote. Finished a new scene for the rewrite of DREAMER'S ROSE. Then wrote a new scene for the rewrite of THE SHAMAN'S CURSE. (I really have to pick just one thing to work on and finish it.)

Also, a couple of crits and two blog posts.

I am taking some "throw away" scenes in a story i am working on and turning them into action. I do not know if I will actually keep these scenes in the story when done, but I need to write them anyway.

On my laptop, I only added a few words to another story in the same series. I think only two sentences (out of like 900 words) of what I have in this one will be in the final story, and they won't be in the same form. The rest is setting me into the mode for the story.

Not much, but I seemed to reach the end of a scene and still need to think of what comes after. (I have an urgent need to reorganize what I've written, too.)

Also my time has been consumed by work (slightly more than usual), Christmas prep (ongoing), and minor but irritating illnesses (I'd explain further but one never knows how scatological humor will go over...)
