Bearing the vermilion traceries of war upon his skin, the Necrodelic stepped into his meditation chamber. Black ribs jutted through the flesh in his side, dripping blood from their jagged tips like feasting nightworms drooling as they satiated their carnivorous appetites. The crepitus of his broken ribs was loud inside the still sanctum, and sounded as through someone was skinning a basilisk with a rusty saw. Chariah walked across the room to the opposite wall, and from his movements and invincible aura, it would have been impossible to detect that he had suffered even the slightest of injuries. He grasped a bone lever on the wall near the Bloodbong, and slowly pulled it down. Immediately, the interplanal portal beneath the giant pipe opened and unleashed the fires of Hell into the dark sanctuary, illuminating the labyrinths

Very cool. Very creepy. Just one thing, and I know I risk exposing myself as a terribly silly person when I say this, but when I read the word "Bloodbong" it immediately took me right out of the story, and I just had to giggle a little bit. Just giving you my honest reaction. (shrug) Otherwise I loved it. Way to go, Duke of Darkness!

quick question. you didnt by any chance mean blood GONG, now did you?

aside from that, and the fact that He obviously lost a fight or something and should be dead and isnt, you got me hooked.

must be the dread thing.
