Here is a list of things that you can do each week as we work on our novels (suggestions welcomed).

Last Week's Goals
A very bad week this week. Not sure what's causing this slump. Not much more to say.
My goals for next week:
Next week I will be out of town and may not have Internet access. So, I may not be able to post next week's NSG. Because of that Memorial Day trip, I may not get much writing done as we prepare to leave town.
What did I learn this week?
Not much this week.

DREAMER'S ROSE:
Nothing for this month.
MAGE STORM: Revise the query letter. Make any revisions that come out of the first chapter critique on Agent's Day.
I haven't gotten to the query letter, yet. But I have certainly been working through the critique and preparing to send the ms to an interested agent I met at Agents Day.
SEVEN STARS: Keep working on the second draft.
Nope. Too busy with MAGE STORM (See above).
BLOOD WILL TELL: Continue the chapter exchange(s) and make revisions.
Yes.
OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Attend Agent's Day on Saturday.
Yes to both.
All in all one of the very best writing weeks I've ever had.
Next Week's Goals:
On the Shelf:
THE SHAMAN'S CURSE
THE IGNORED PROPHECY
Keep jotting down ideas of how these two might be changed.
DREAMER'S ROSE:
Nothing for this month.
MAGE STORM:
Revise the query letter. Send the ms. to that interested agent ( ) and start querying again.
SEVEN STARS:
Get back to work on the second draft. Six chapters--that'll be through chapter 18.
BLOOD WILL TELL:
Continue the chapter exchange(s) and make revisions.
OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Try to get a little work done on my WotF entry for Quarter 3.

THE NULL PROPHET: Let it rest. Continue exchanges.
Yes
MINDWALKER: 1,000 words/day, 8,000 for the week.
Almost. 7,778 for the week.
Next Week:
THE NULL PROPHET: Continue exchanges. Bring out of hibernation starting 5/27. It'll be my first time actively working on two books at once, so my goals might be screwy for awhile. This first week, no specific goals since it's only two days, but I'll start with the query and a top-level look at what changes I want to make.
MINDWALKER: Aim for 1,000 words/day, hit the 50,000 word mark.
Evangeline: No work, put on the back burner. No block just don't have enough time =(
New Arbor Day: Getting some serious revision work in, up to 54 pages. I think I've successfully de-snoozed the first 80 just by making the changes I have. More meat less empty calories. So even though the plot may start out slow, it still satisfies until it naturally picks up.
Next Week: Same for Evangeline, and pass 100 pages on New Arbor Day.
And I finished the first revision of Bright Lights and started the second, using the advice I have received so far. And adding a few commas to chapter four.
Still working on that ending for "Storm Born". My MC is ever so close to confronting the bad wizard as he is opening the gate for the demigod. But today I may have the wizard's assistant try to fight off my MC instead of him. He's too busy to stop what he is doing. And I have already strongly hinted that the assistant is around some place.
enigmaticuser, I meant to say this on the other thread where you described that virus. I know I have had problems with certain programs for a day or one session of the computer being turned on, but than it starts working again. In fact more than a year ago one of my USB ports stopped working for a day or so. But no problems since.

For the coming week, finish that chapter & work on a character (Ing Cabot). If possible, work on the "Kai" chapter.
