Welcome to this week's Novel Support Group (NSG). Anyone can join. If you're new, tell us a bit about who you are and what project you are working on. Feel free to update the NSG Work in Progress thread with your current projects. Although we can report on any number of things, here is a list of suggestions (suggestions welcomed).

Still reading for pleasure. However, I'm starting to get the writing bug again, which is good, but I really need to finish the programming project.

My goals for next week:

Last Week's Goals:

MAGIC'S FOOL (Working Title): Finish chapter 3, and move on.
Well, I got back to it, but I haven't finished the chapter, yet. Close.

MAGE STORM: Go over the revision critiques and decide to either start sending queries out again or take another whack at it.
Not yet.

SEVEN STARS: Get another reader or two for this draft.
Working on it.

BLOOD WILL TELL: Research more agents for this one.
Still researching. Got a rejection for the one full I had out.

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Polish up the WotF story, figure out how to strengthen the ending, and send it out.
Yes to both, except I haven't sent the WotF entry yet. I want to let it rest just a little and read through it one more time.

I finished the scene!!! YAY!

So I met one of my goals from last week.

I have set aside time every weekend to write so now its just a matter of sticking to it.

I found another reader for my book.

I did not pick up my short story at all. I want to keep the momentum going on the book until I need a break.

Goals for Next Week:

Start the next scene. WRITE WRITE WRITE

I worked through my plot issue, which affected 4 scenes (two of which are completely new or substantially rewritten). I also cut my "rescue planning" and revised the actual rescue scene to include the few bits of info I needed to keep, and I think it improved the pace greatly. Finally, I spent some time developing one of my secondary POV characters, and then dove in with the revision on his first scene.
Goals: accomplished

Next week, I'll continue with the revisions (goal: 4 scenes). I've also got a couple more changes for the ending that I might tackle if I need some extra time for Aydin's new character traits to steep.
