Easy goal to meet. [Smile]

Eh. No. [Frown]

BLOOD IS THICKER: Let it rest.
Another easy one. [Smile]

MAGIC'S APPRENTICE: Nothing this week.
And still another. [Smile]

THE BARD'S GIFT: Write through Chapter 19. Polish up the query and pitch for WriteOnCon.
Yes to all of the above. [Smile]

MAGE STORM: Make some minor revisions and polish up the query and pitch for WriteOnCon.
Yes again. [Smile]

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Yep. [Smile]

Well, I've done some research on a different thread: http://www.hatrack.com/cgi-bin/ubbwriters/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=007410;p=0&r=nfx

I'm up to pg 106 in my editing.
I thought of a more powerful ending than I have down. Course, I have to get to it before I can write it, but I frantically tapped notes on my iphone then e-mailed them to myself.

I'm definitely at the point where I just want to write that part, and working up to it is too slow...

For goodness sake, axeminister, write that part now, while you're excited about it.

I've said before that just as movies aren't necessarily filmed in the order in which they are viewed, books don't have to be written in the order in which they will be read.

Write the parts that you are excited about WHILE you are excited about them, and that can help make them exciting to the readers as well.

Please, please, please, don't wait until you get there to write it. What if you lost steam by that time? Don't risk it.

I had to do that on a rewrite, when I had two readers, metaphorically, throw my draft at the wall at a certain point. I had to rewrite the scene before I could move on.

This week I continue to do the initial rewrite of my trilogy. Books 1 and 2 are done. I just started on Book 3 today.

Book 3 is a little short (70K) so my goal is to come up with another plot line that will eke out another ten thousand words or more.

No.

That is no novel writing for me. On any of my WIPs.

Five chapters of Two Struggles are still in the hands of four readers. I have received two crits on the first chapter. Or there is a fifth person who will be receiving them soon but she will be looking for mainly one thing.

Last week's goal: write at least 1/2 hour on WIP writing new pages every day. ACCOMPLISHED.

Next week's goal: Same.

I'm about 100 pages into a novel I'm pretty excited about. Man meets rogue psychotic AI inside a communcation network, AI begins appearing in real world in weird, trippy ways that only man can see, man unsure if it's real or hallucination due to recently acquired drug habit. All told through his really wry, sarcastic point of view that is a blast to write.

On a side note, I've collected about half a dozen form rejections on my finshed novel. Not sure why the rest of the world doesn't see my genius. Also, not sure what I've written isn't drivel. It's a weird line between arrogance and lack of confidence. Oh well, I'll just keep plugging away at it until I get somewhere.
