As for me.

Last Week's Goals:

MAGE STORM:Wait for a reply to my follow-up query to the agent with a request.
I heard back--rejection. Now I need to decide what to do next. [Frown]

MAGIC AND POWER: Send out three more queries.
Yes. [Smile]

THE SHAMAN'S CURSE: It'll be interesting to see what happens to sales now that the price has gone up (but not very high).
Still selling well--but only on Amazon. [Big Grin]

DREAMER'S ROSE: Pause, for now.
Easy one. [Smile]

THE IGNORED PROPHECY: Let this rest for a week or so.
Rest period over. I've started the next pass. [Smile]

WEIRD OZ: Let the new ideas ferment a bit.
Another easy one. [Smile]

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Yes. [Smile]

Get a start on a short story that will be a tie-in to THE SHAMAN'S CURSE AND THE IGNORED PROPHECY.
First draft done. [Smile]

Next Week's Goals:

MAGE STORM:
I could submit this to a small publisher. But I may want to rewrite it with a slightly older protagonist first. I won't have an opening to do that for a couple of months.

MAGIC AND POWER:
Send out three more queries.

THE SHAMAN'S CURSE:
Do some promotion to try to keep this going well.

DREAMER'S ROSE:
Pause, for now.

THE IGNORED PROPHECY:
Second draft of the rewrite. I'd like to get this to around the half-way point. I need to get it to beta readers next month.

WEIRD OZ:
Let the new ideas ferment a bit.

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.

Meant to say this last week. Yes indeed I have been woking on a novel; two actually.

The first is Above My Pay Grade. I found a few things in the proof edition so I made those corrections and sent in the file again.

And I have been working on a new novel. An idea hit me about two weeks ago and I had to at least start it. The first chapter is 2,200 words and the second is close to 7,000 and I'm about 1,000 words into the third.

It started out steampunk with wizardry but as I worked on the first chapter it I decided it needed dragons too So a fusion of steampunk and dragonpunk? With a side of wizards.

The story takes place just as we enter WWI and follows a new wizard recruit. I decided that it will follow real history even if everything is steam powered, they have airships instead of biplanes and dragons with human "pilots". Not sure of a title yet, but I will have to come up with at least a working one soon.
