I restarted work about two weeks ago on DIGBY COLLIER, and have completed a 3500 word chapter. The MS currently stands at 22600, and I expect that another 4000 words will bring the first act to a close.

I'm pantsing this one, which is different from my past work. I usually write a series of test scenes starting in the third act working back, then fill the gaps in. At some point along the way I'll outline, usually when the word count starts looking excessive.
