As for me:

Last Week's Goals:

Some thinking. Not enough yet. [Smile]

THE SHAMAN'S CURSE/THE VOICE OF PROPHECY: Nothing for this week.
Easy one. [Smile]

BEYOND THE PROPHECY: Try to finish the final revisions.
Almost. Just a couple of small things left. [Smile]

MAGIC'S WARRIOR (temporary working title of DUAL MAGICS Book 4): On hold for the revisions to BEYOND THE PROPHECY.
Another easy one. [Smile]

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Yes. [Smile]

Well, Fred did his job. Monday afternoon as the sun was setting behind him, Fred finally stopped nudging pebbles around with his toe and glanced up at me from beneath his bushy eyebrows, a smug, cheeky grin on his face. With a wink he fetched a hip-flask out of his right pocket and said, "Right, boy-o, I think you've got it!"

I did too; my idea was too big for a short story. It would be a perfect fit for a novella or full-blown novel though. So, a bit of thought and I came up with the wire frame from which to hang a revised short-story plot:

Scene 1: Routine interrupted/Inciting incident and complication

Scene 2: Rising tension to Climax. An agoraphobic character required to go ‘out into the world’.

Scene 3: Dénouement/Resolution—the character walks off into the night, a changed man!

The only problem I now have with that is I'd like something with more impact than a character overcoming his agoraphobia. Still, it is an internal struggle, a want to overcome a fear.

And, that was all I did last week. I got caught up in the opening classes I've been developing as well as essays for my Battle School.

Goal for this week:

Really spend some quiet time developing the plot of Bartholomew Prinn.

Phil.
