Feel free to update the NSG Work in Progress thread with your current projects. Although we can report on any number of things, here is a list of suggestions (suggestions welcomed).

Describe what you worked on.
Set goals for next week.
Did you learn something during this week?

Here is a list of things that you can do each week as we work on our novels (suggestions welcomed).

As for me:

Last Week's Goals:

MAGE STORM: Think about what else I could do with this story.
Yes. I even jotted down (digitally) a few paragraphs of the new beginning. [Smile]

THE SHAMAN'S CURSE/THE VOICE OF PROPHECY/BEYOND THE PROPHECY:
Nothing this week.
Easy one. [Smile]

WAR OF MAGIC (temporary working title of DUAL MAGICS Book 4): Continue. Try to build up some momentum.
Slowly, but I am starting to build momentum. [Big Grin]

BECOME: TO CATCH THE LIGHTNING (formerly DREAMER'S ROSE): Continue.
Eh. Not this week. [Frown]

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Yes. [Smile]

Next Week's Goals:

MAGE STORM:
Think about what else I could do with this story.

THE SHAMAN'S CURSE/THE VOICE OF PROPHECY/BEYOND THE PROPHECY:
Nothing this week.

WAR OF MAGIC (temporary working title of DUAL MAGICS Book 4):
Continue building up some momentum.

BECOME: TO CATCH THE LIGHTNING (formerly DREAMER'S ROSE):
Place on hold as long as I have momentum in WAR OF MAGIC.

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.

I managed to finish that draft of my short story, and am working on my more detailed outline for Sanguine now.

Regardless of whether or not I manage to finish said outline by the end of the day, I'm starting NaNoWriMo tomorrow. I have enough specific scenes laid out that I have at least a week's worth of writing options at this point. I also have a general overlay of the story complications as a whole.

I plan to post my daily word counts here for accountability's sake (although I may simply edit this post every day to keep from bothering people unnecessarily).

Disgruntled Peony, Meredith was talking about starting a topic here for NaNoWriMo, so you should be able to post there and not have to worry about editing your posts.

(I have to confess that every time I think about NaNoWriMo, I think about Robin Williams' character Mork from Ork. [Smile] )
