Feel free to update the NSG Work in Progress thread with your current projects. Although we can report on any number of things, here is a list of suggestions (suggestions welcomed).

Describe what you worked on.
Set goals for next week.
Did you learn something during this week?

Here is a list of things that you can do each week as we work on our novels (suggestions welcomed).

As for me:

Last Week's Goals:

THE SHAMAN'S CURSE/THE VOICE OF PROPHECY/BEYOND THE PROPHECY: Keep working--again--on trying to get this made into an audio book. Learn the ropes.
Some. [Smile]

WAR OF MAGIC: Let it rest.
Easy one. [Smile]

BECOME: TO CATCH THE LIGHTNING: Add another chapter.
Yes. [Smile]

MAGE STORM: Continue rewrite. A chapter a day would take me through chapter 8.
Not even close. [Frown]

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Yes. [Smile]

Next Week's Goals:

THE SHAMAN'S CURSE/THE VOICE OF PROPHECY/BEYOND THE PROPHECY:
Keep working--again--on trying to get this made into an audio book. Learn the ropes. Track the promotion and sale for next week.

WAR OF MAGIC:
Start revisions.

BECOME: TO CATCH THE LIGHTNING:
What time allows.

MAGE STORM:
Finish the current chapter and make notes on further revisions before turning back to WAR OF MAGIC.

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.

I blew it again last week by not adding a post.

But this week and last week were pretty much the same.

I am working on the edits of Learning Curve, as usual I am also adding a bit to. I found two paragraphs that sounded plain and amateurish so I added a couple of details and spiced them up-just a bit. And I worked on the cover.

Which is all the novel work I did.

I've been poking at the outline of something that is definitely longer than a short story, simply based on the number of main/supporting characters. Still got a long way to go before it's anywhere near ready to draft, but I think this will go farther than previous attempts simply because of how in-depth the outline is thus far.

I'm slow tonight - can you explain to me how this thread operates? Thank you.

Essentially, it's writers working on longer projects explaining what they've worked on/where they're at with said projects, and offering each other support/advice when necessary or asked for.
