While part of the plot in Deep Secret involved Rupert's increasingly warm feelings towards Maree, we never actually saw them work out their relationship-- it came about offstage, as it were. How did you feel about this?

I mentioned this under Characters, but I felt this could have used more lead up, to help us feel them learning, in spite of themselves, that the other was a good person and one they desired. They each do good things witnessed by the other, and there are some thoughts about this that help us realize the romantic part might actually happen. I like that Rupert can't teach Maree how to be a Magid - that was reasonable.
